TRIBUTE TO A FINE SURGEON, SCHOLAR AND GENTLEMAN

Professor Folabi Olumide belonged to that rare breed of fine old school doctors that are being gradually depleted by the passage of time.

He represented the very best of our profession with his outstanding intellect, consummate skill and dexterity of a superb surgeon, empathy, gentility and a cultured manner.

He was one of the pillars of our specialist professional group, THE CAMPBELL STREET CLINICAL GROUP, and one of the three professors of medicine that have kept faith with and supported our proceedings and activities for the past several years.

His sudden departure from this sublunary abode will surely leave our group with a big void that will be difficult to fill.

Our heartfelt condolences go to his lovely wife, Mrs Folasade Olumide, the children, grandchildren and the extended family, and we pray that Almighty God will grant them the fortitude to bear this monumental loss.
May his illustrious soul rest in peace.

Dr. Seyi Roberts, FMCP FWACP.
Coordinator. (2019- Date)
